Prayer is perhaps the main way that we can welcome God into our lives.  It is at its heart a conversation with him involving both listening and speaking.

As a church we pray together in Sunday services and in small groups.

We also meet in the church building to pray each weekday morning (except Wednesdays) at 9am, for 30 minutes.  Everyone is welcome to join us for this.

Candle prayer

Did you know we have a prayer tree in St Mary's?

Would you like the opportunity to come and sit quietly in the church, and offer a prayer?  The prayer tree could be for you!

The prayer tree is a place that anyone can come to, and write a prayer.  Prayers are written on a leaf-shaped piece of paper, and hung on the tree, as a sign of the prayer being offered to God.

The prayer tree is in the side chapel of the church (as you enter the building, turn right and walk straight ahead into the side chapel), and is available any time the church is open.
